The Val Morgan story began more than a century ago in Melbourne, Australia, as the vision of entrepreneur and company founder, Mr Val Morgan. When motion pictures arrived in Australia in the early 20th Century, Val Morgan seized the opportunity to sell advertising in the then new medium.

The core business of the company today remains true to this original vision, whilst cinema and advertising technology has evolved dramatically over time, cinema advertising itself still provides advertisers with the unique benefits of a captive audience and optimum environment. This is made even more valuable in today's world of multi-tasking, with ad avoidance and fragmentation creating huge challenges for advertisers.

Val Morgan holds the representation rights to virtually all advertising screens in Australia and New Zealand. In Australia, this includes the circuits of Hoyts, Event Cinemas, Greater Union, Village, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Wallis, Reading Cinemas, Palace Cinemas, Dendy Cinemas and the majority of independent cinemas.

Through a joint-venture with Motivate Publishing, the Gulf's leading publisher of magazines and books, Val Morgan has also expanded its operations into the United Arab Emirates, representing key cinemas in the region.

Val Morgan's focus is the continued development of cinema advertising. In Australia and New Zealand we have introduced a series of initiatives to enable advertisers to capitalise on the stunning growth of cinema and its unique role in the media landscape.

We are committed to driving and developing this new direction in cinema advertising to ensure growth and excellence well into the 21st century.

In 2008 Val Morgan established a new operating division, Val Morgan Retail Media to complement the core cinema advertising business. Val Morgan Retail Media is Australia's largest digital retail network with over 1,200 digital panels including 46 super screens and a mega screen in 250 shopping centres Australia wide.

We then extended our digital out of home footprint into the petro convenience sector with the aquisition of PumpTV in November 2012. Val Morgan PumpTV operate 2,000 TVs across 326 premium petrol stations.

Our out of home businesses are now consolidated under the Val Morgan Outdoor brand.
