2007 Box Office Summary

The 2007 Box Office finished with a final total of $895 million, which was a 3% increase on 2006.

2007 is now the 2nd highest year on record.

Contributing to the final figure were strong performances from films such as Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Shrek The Third, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and The Simpsons Movie which each made over $30 million.

There was also notable success from other films including the comedies Knocked Up and Death at a Funeral.
