The Star aligned with the premium Mov’in Boat environment to drive brand awareness and hero their exceptional range of bars and restaurants.

Challenge

The Star’s main focus was to increase awareness and consideration of both the brand and their dining precinct. A secondar objective was to drive traffic to the venue, which is a short distance from Darling Harbour.

Solution

The Star came on board as the partner of both the VIP Floating Bar and the BYO Boat area, delivering exclusivity over branding and naming rights for both sections onsite.

The Star also created a custom cocktail menu exclusively for VIP Area guests inspired by their highly renowned bars and restaurants. These guests also had the option to purchase special packages via The Star’s Table for 2 app, which were delivered straight to the beds before the screening. These tasting menus included a variety of dishes and were designed to showcase the diverse culinary offerings at The Star.

Results

  • 433,000+ impressions delivered via paid and organic social activity

  • 85% of Mov’in Boat sessions were sold out

  • 28,745 total paid admits delivered across the season
