Introducing Brodie, one of the many faces of Val…

Alright, spill the tea: How did you find yourself in the advertising industry, and what’s been the best part of your journey at Val Morgan Cinema so far?

I landed my first gig straight out of uni as a Sales Coordinator at 2GB radio, and over the years I found my way into strategy. The best part of Val Morgan Cinema has been discovering how powerful and creative the cinema space can be for brands and pitching ideas that have never been done before.

If your work life had its own soundtrack, what three songs would play on repeat?

Moby – Porcelain

Sade – Smooth Operator

Frankie Goes to Hollywood – Relax

Calm on the surface, but getting things done.

Your ideal work lunch: cooking up a five-course meal in the office microwave or embarking on a quest to find the best sanga in town?

Neither—I'm loyal to the GYG Burrito Bowl downstairs. Fast, reliable and always hits the spot.

If your work ethic were a culinary creation, what would it be?

Probably a comforting bowl of soup. Dependable, warming and there when you need it most.

In the superhero league of workplace skills, who are you and what’s your origin story?

I’m the Enigmatic Efficiency Enforcer. Years of juggling strategy decks, client briefs and brainstorms—all while keeping a calm levelheaded attitude.

If you could have the quirkiest, most unexpected line in your email signature, what would it say?

Powered by caffeine.
