The objective.

Subaru wanted to drive awareness of their new SUV and connect with family audiences in a new and exciting way.

How we rose to the challenge.

By aligning Subaru with Event and Village Cinemas’ ‘Family Passport’, this allowed them to connect with a high-value family audience in a meaningful way.

Family Fun Days

To further connect with Subaru’s target audience in a fun and exciting way, Subaru hosted ‘Family Fun Days’ in select cinema foyers. These events involved face painting, colouring in and a photobooth which streamed photos directly to a cinema screen.

On-screen activity

A branded TVC in the pre-show delivered high-impact on-screen visibility nationwide across Event and Village Cinemas.

Digital amplification

The campaign came to life across the exhibitors’ owned touchpoints including EDMs, social media, e-tickets and website banners, reaching a large amount of families across Australia.

Family Passport

The Family Passport offering gave families a chance to purchase 3 x Family Passes to the movies, valid for 6 months from purchase.
